Originating from Down Under (Australia), MINKPINK has quickly become one of my favorite brands. Comfortable, trendy, and stylish are perfect words to describe MINKPINK. It can be a little hard to find here in the States, I usually go back and forth between:
On the season finale of Glee, the cast sings "To Sir, With Love" to their teacher, Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison).
I have been a fan of Glee since it started back in September, and the show has only gotten better as it's gone on. The season finale was an emotional one - the team's big L at regionals, the loss of the Glee Club, and finally, the long-awaited birth of Quinn & Puck's baby.
Additionally, there was a great Journey medley performed by New Directions, as well as Bohemian Rhapsody performed by New Directions' rivals, Vocal Adrenaline.
Go to hulu or fox.com and check out the full episode, or better yet, buy the DVD and watch Season 1 from the beginning - and we can all start the countdown to Season 2!
As some of you might know I'm in the process of pursuing my master's degree in Forensic Psychology, what is it, you ask? (Every person inevitably does). Forensic Psychology is essentially the study and etiology (cause) of the deviant individual - that sounded so smart. lol.
Recently Kip & I went and saw Shutter Island which was AMAZING. The bonus? It was centered around Forensic Psychology and the early introduction of Thorazine (antipsychotic/neuroleptic drug) as a use for mental illness and psychotic diseases, as well as some references to lobotomies.
You may or may not have heard about the very adorable 12 year old boy, Greyson Chance who has taken the internet by storm singing a cover of Lady Gaga's "Paparrazzi".
The best part of this video is watching all the little girls in the audience. Check their faces when he begins to sing. lol.
As I was driving to work this morning, listening to Sirius/XM Radio this happened to come on and catch my attention. LOVE IT. She can count on me buying her album if the tracks are as good as this one.
A little story about me jumping on the Twilight Express:
About a year ago, everyone was going crazy over the release of Twilight on DVD. Both my sister (who was a huge fan of the books) and my co-worker insisted that I mustREAD THE BOOKS FIRST! (For fear of certain death if I didn't), I took their advice and borrowed the first book from my co-worker. I was hooked. Skeptic that I was, I was instantaneously drawn in, I read Twilight in no more than 5 hours, and immediately drove to Barnes & Noble and bought the rest of the collection which I voraciously devoured over the next 2 days. Yes, I read all four in less than 2 days. Sad to see it end, I then proceeded to watch Twilight (the movie). While not exactly sticking to the book, Catherine Hardawicke (the director) did a great job with her interpretation of the book. (If you want to watch it check out HBO/Showtime/Starz on the weekend, they play it ALL the time).
